What To Expect With A Border Collie
1) You will find that these dogs will be full of energy! Some more than others. It depends on the dogs personality.
2) These does love to herd! They are a Herding Breed! This does not just mean animals. This can mean Vehicles!
Most of the time this dog will try to chase cars because they thrive to herd up anything when an animal is not available. A tie or fence would be necessary if you live in a more suburban area..... or leash if you plan to walk everyday until trained
3) These dogs are very lovable! They are a breed that will do good around kids and people as long as they are interacted well!
4) They are barkers! When they are intrigued they will let you know and alert you. This can mean they can be more bark than bite.
5) And last They can be a little territorial.... more than two can cause problems! Which is common in every breed! But with being a breeder some of my females don't get along with others.

Hemric Mountain Border Collins orientated 30 years ago, with Caroline Hemric. This woman was my Grandmother (Nana). She started this business hoping to share the breed with others who loved them as much as her, and she did just that and more! She passed away back in Febuary 2025, and has passed down this business to her Daughter (Amber Hemric) and her Granddaughter (Mallorie Hemric). We are so happy to continue bringing the love and joy to others with this breed!
